Of course, alongside the red sticker system, perhaps some positive reinforcement (like a gold star or reward system) would help motivate them for the right reasons too, and help foster a more positive relationship with recycling.

Good to see a slow and steady change take place. Giving plenty of time for education and credits to ease the transition and make sure everybody is on board when the new law comes in is a good strategy.

A great move by Seattle! A mandate and fines for non-compliance will certainly bring results, especially with polls suggesting 75% of residents are in favour.
